    About Us

    Our Advocates and Our Children
We currently have 40 trained advocates who volunteer about 1300 hours a year on behalf of our assigned children. Our advocates come from a variety of professions and life backgrounds. Some work full or part-time while others are retired. All make a difference in the lives of our children.

CASA is assigned to every abuse and neglect case in Knox County, Warren County, Henderson County, and McDonough ? County. In 2018, we served 288 children. Their ages ranged from birth to age 17. On average, 123 new children enter Knox, Warren, Henderson, and McDonough ?Counties' abuse and neglect court system each year. This does not include the number of children who remain in the system from the previous year. CASA of West Central Illinois serves each of these children.

We are a nonprofit agency that recruits and trains community members to serve area child victims of abuse and neglect as Court Appointed Special Advocates. Serving McDonough, Warren, Henderson, and Knox County.
