About Us

Our Advocates and Our Children
We currently have 40 trained advocates who volunteer about 1,300 hours a year on behalf of our assigned children. Our advocates come from a variety of professions and life backgrounds. Some work full or part-time while others are retired. All make a difference in the lives of our children.

CASA is assigned to abuse and neglect cases in Knox County, Warren County, Henderson County, and McDonough County. On average, 123 new children enter Knox, Warren, Henderson, and McDonough Counties' abuse and neglect court system each year. This does not include the number of children who remain in the system from the previous year. CASA of West Central Illinois serves as many children as we can.

We are a nonprofit agency that recruits and trains community members to serve area child victims of abuse and neglect as Court Appointed Special Advocates. Serving McDonough, Warren, Henderson, and Knox County.
