CSBG Outreach/Intake Worker
OUTREACH/INTAKE WORKER
Essential Functions: Responsible for outreach and intake activities for programs, primarily Community Services Block Grant and Homeless/Rental Assistance programs serving a five-county area. Office work will be based in both McDonough and Knox counties.
Requirements: High school diploma. Preference for coursework in psychology and/or sociology and two years’ experience in a social service related area. Ability to relate well to persons of varying backgrounds is essential. Ownership, and/or regular access to the use of a vehicle, possession of a valid operator’s license, and maintenance of a good driving record a requirement.
This is a full-time position with a fringe benefits package which includes profit sharing after eligibility, generous vacation, sick, and personal leave time, and employer-paid premiums for employee health, dental, and vision insurance.
