Open Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m. You MUST wear a mask. There are designated areas to stand. Maximum two people in the Chamber at one time. Please follow guidelines on signage.

Macomb Police Department/McDonough County Sheriff’s Department

The Macomb Police Department/McDonough County Sheriff's lobby will be closed until further notice(this is just the lobby area not the departments). Should you need an officer please call 309-833-4505 for Macomb Police or 309-833-2323 for the McDonough County Sheriff's office and an officer will respond to your residence or wherever you are located. Should you need to come to the lobby, dispatch will contact an officer for you. If you are supposed to register with the department please still come to the PD to do that.

McDonough County Courthouse

The McDonough County Courthouse is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. You will be able to enter through the East handicap entrance. All other entrances are closed. You will be screened. The elected officials of McDonough County ask that all nonessential business be handled remotely. Please see the contact numbers below to make an appointment.

Amtrak

Due to current low ridership, effective Friday 3/20/20, AMTRAK will be suspending the Carl Sandburg train service, which is the train that arrives at 10:50am from Chicago, and departs at 6:18pm, from Macomb, to Chicago. The suspension is scheduled to last until 05/31/2020.The Illinois Zephyr, the 7:00am departure from Macomb, to Chicago, with return service arriving back in Macomb at 9:20pm will still be in normal operation. Riders must wear a mask.
