  • Who We Are

The Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce serves as a link between member businesses and the community.  Membership in our organization not only affords many opportunities and benefits, but shows an investment and commitment to Macomb and the surrounding area.  Our organizations’ interests and goals lie in making Macomb and the surrounding area a hub of commerce that is always evolving to serve the needs of our businesses and community residents.  It is the mission of the MACC to promote the development and growth of the Macomb area and our vision to serve as a catalyst for the business, professional and educational community's collective efforts to enhance the economic climate and quality of life for all our citizens.

  • What We do

    Support Local Economy
The Chamber strives to promote our member businesses first and foremost, and by doing so, create a strong local economy to keep our business momentum moving forward.  One example of this is our gift certificate program.  With this program, $200,000 of gift giving remains in our local economy each year.

    Advocate
One of our organization’s main goals is to serve as an advocate for the businesses of the Macomb area.  Big or small, we ensure our businesses’ voices are heard.  By lobbying in Springfield each year and maintaining positive relationships with our local legislators, we have the ability to make an impact on behalf of our community and business leaders.

    Business Resource
Membership in our organization affords businesses many tools and resources that they would not have access to otherwise.  From the monthly newsletter to our publications for prospective Macomb residents, our members are offered the very best in membership services.

    Network
The Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce strives to connect the business and community leaders in the area.  In such a close knit community, connections are key and essential to the success of the community and surrounding area.  Through events such as Business After Hours and Business Before Hours, our members are afforded an opportunity to meet and network with professionals.  This creates a cohesive and sustainable effort in developing Macomb and McDonough County.

    Professional Development
Whether it is becoming involved with one of our numerous committees or attending our Community Leadership Academy, there are ample opportunities for our members and their employees to develop both professionally and personally.  We customize our professional development opportunities to address those issues and concerns unique to our area, ensuring that each participant finds value in the experience and can utilize this knowledge to grow professionally.
