Dickens Eve is held on Friday night, with complimentary trolley rides, open houses, picturesque windows, a live nativity scene and a Victorian Dress display. Performers dressed in Victorian costumes will provide musical entertainment as they stroll the beautifully decorated streets.
Saturday’s events will include complimentary carriage rides, children’s crafts, jugglers, a magic and puppet show, storytelling, pictures with Santa, Dolly and Me Tea, Children’s Shopping Mall and live entertainment inside the stores. Fully-attired Dickensian characters will again stroll the street and provide musical entertainment. Many businesses, as part of their kick-off to the holiday season, will host Open Houses during Dickens on the Square.
