Since 1994, Dickens on the Square has been bringing Holiday Traditions of old back to life on the Macomb Downtown Square. Held as a two day event, Dickens begins with "A Dickens Eve" on Friday night with open houses, beautifully lighted windows, musical entertainment and a chance to win gift certificate wreaths. Saturday's events include complimentary carriage rides, strolling entertainers, along with a multitude of activities. Children may have their pictures taken with Santa or the family may have a victorian portrait taken. Performers provide musical entertainment as you enjoy the beautifully decorated streets. Storytelling, jugglers....who knows what excitement will occur at the next corner!
